It all started when Jason was 16 years old, he herd his older brother Michael playing on a Casio keyboard and was inspired to start playing the keys himself. After years and years of practising and trying different things he started letting people listen to his music to see what they thought, most of them like his music so he decided to really get serious with music and came up with a producer name which was Capital J. The reason why Jason name himself Capital J is because he like's to "Capitalize on everything in life" no mater what it is...it's who he is.
12 years later... Jason has done every type of genre on the planet, he focus on making good music with a positive message cause he feels it should be more artist putting out positive messages instead of telling our youth to do something that the artist themselves (in most cases) don't do. He now focus on helping people and getting his music out on the net cause he says "the internet is the future with music and if you smart you would Capitalize on this opportunity instead of wasting time whining about nobody buying cd's anymore.
Jason does just about everything on his own and has a great deal of knowledge in his short lived life,"the reason why i wanted to come up with more than just a producing/rapping site is because i had to learn everything on my own, i would hate for anybody to go through a lot of the things i have."
